Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 20, 2026 · Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Velin Consulting Group LLC, doing business as Tesray Technologies ("Tesray," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the website located at tesraytech.com (the "Site") and the communication services we provide, including automated telephone answering and appointment scheduling that we operate on behalf of our business clients, and operational text message notifications that we send to our own business clients (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Site or interacting with the Services, including by providing your telephone number during a call, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy.
Contents
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide to us
- Identifiers and contact data such as your name, telephone number, and email address.
- Communication content such as the reason for your inquiry and information you provide during a telephone call handled by our automated receptionist on behalf of a client business, including call transcripts and call recordings.
- Scheduling information necessary to book an appointment or consultation.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data such as pages visited, referring pages, browser type, and general device and log information, collected through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not provide payment card numbers or other sensitive financial information through the Services; payments are processed by third-party payment processors under their own terms.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following business purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry and route your request to the appropriate business.
- To schedule appointments and consultations and to send related confirmations and links through our scheduling provider.
- To send operational service notifications by text message to our business clients who have consented, as described in Section 3.
- To operate, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and the Services.
- To comply with applicable laws, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Tesray, our clients, and the public.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Program description. Our text messaging program sends operational, account-related notifications from Tesray to our own business clients — the business owner or authorized contact who has engaged Tesray to operate an AI receptionist or related service. For example, when a caller leaves a message or requests an appointment through a client's receptionist, we send a short text alert to that business owner's own mobile number so they can follow up. These are internal service notifications sent only to our contracted business customers. We do not send text messages to the general public, and we do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. A fuller description is on our Messaging Program page.
Consent. Enabling these SMS notifications is optional and is not required to purchase or use any Tesray service. A client who wants text alerts turns them on themselves by texting a keyword (such as START) to our number and receiving a confirmation reply; this opt-in is user-initiated and is separate from purchasing or using the service. Consent is voluntary, is not transferable, and is not a condition of any purchase; declining or replying STOP at any time does not affect the service.
Message frequency. Message frequency is low and depends on the client's call volume, typically one to two messages per day.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Such charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. We do not charge for the messages themselves.
Opt out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the word STOP, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive further messages. Opt-out keywords (including STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT) are honored automatically. You may also opt out by contacting us using the details in Section 12.
Help. For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the details in Section 12.
Carrier liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sharing of mobile information for marketing. We do not sell your information. No mobile information, including SMS opt-in and consent data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Mobile telephone numbers and opt-in data collected for text messaging are used solely to deliver the messages you have requested and are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver those messages (such as our telephony provider), as described in Section 4, never for marketing.
4. How We Disclose Information
We disclose information only as described below. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Client businesses. Where we operate a Service on behalf of a client business, we share the information you provide with that specific business so it can respond to your request.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as telephony, voice and messaging infrastructure, scheduling, hosting, analytics, and payment processing. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tesray, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
5. Cookies and Analytics
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. We may use analytics providers that collect usage information on our behalf.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for a limited period to operate, audit, and improve the Services, and are then deleted or de-identified.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of that information, to opt out of certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site or messages may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as scheduling or payment pages, that are not operated by us. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party you interact with.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Any changes become effective when the updated Policy is posted. Your continued use of the Site or Services after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
