Business owners feel the pressure to adopt AI, and the noise makes it impossible to tell what will actually drive results. What most companies do not have is somebody whose whole job that is. Hiring for the role means finding someone who has to learn your business and the technology at the same time, and those people are hard to find. The Fractional AI Executive is that role, hired out to us: a long-running partnership where we diagnose across the company, implement in priority order, and keep optimizing as the business grows and the tools change.

Who it is for

  • A company considering a full-time AI hire that would rather have the outcome before committing a headcount.
  • A founder or executive team that knows there is more than one process worth fixing, and does not want to run a separate project for each.
  • A business growing fast enough that what worked last quarter is already the wrong shape.

What the role does

  1. Learns how the company operates day to day: the tools, where the data lives, what gets done twice.
  2. Finds the highest-leverage points and puts a number on each.
  3. Architects and builds the systems, in the order they pay back.
  4. Runs the QA, trains the team, and hosts what needs hosting.
  5. Reports monthly in plain terms, and optimizes what is live.
  6. Repeats the process in the next area of the business.

Compared to a full-time hire

A hire

  • Learns your business and the tools at the same time.
  • Months to recruit, then months to ramp.
  • One person’s range of skills.
  • A fixed cost whether or not there is a build in flight.

The fractional role

  • Arrives knowing the tools. Learns the business in the first weeks.
  • Starts with a call.
  • Consulting, architecture, development, QA, and optimization under one roof.
  • Scoped to what the company needs this quarter, and adjusted as it grows.

What a month looks like

A standing cadence: the next area of the business being diagnosed, the current builds in flight, a monthly report on what the live systems did, and a review with the founder or the executive team on what comes next. The person leading it is the same person on every call.

How it is priced

Scoped to the company, monthly, with the term agreed up front and the price in writing before we start. For early-stage companies with real growth potential we are open to structures that include equity rather than a purely cash arrangement.

Currently accepting new clients

Start with how the company runs day to day.

The first call is a conversation, not a pitch. We find out how the business operates, explore a few opportunities, and make sure it is a fit before anything else.
